I've been vegan for a couple of months now and I'm tired all the time. I have minimized oils, processed foods, and refined carbs. I also eat a lot of fresh greens, vegetables, legumes, and fruits. I don't know what is causing me to feel tired and weak all the time. I get enough sleep and I exercise daily. Ever since becoming vegan, I'm always fatigue. I don't want to go back to eating any animal products. Please help.

Have you had your vit D levels checked lately? Even though you are a couple months into the plant based diet (myself as well), you could be low. It takes months to build up to optimal levels. I thought i was fine but when my levels were checked a year ago, I was at a 12 when I should be at 75! Last check I was 27 and my doc increased my daily D even more to 5000 ius a day. Also, the fatigue could be a thyroid issue or a detox issue. Just some thoughts. Maybe talk to a doctor and get some blood panels done. Hope you feel better soon
